Since we are in the second half of the year its a good to to evaluate how we are progressing with our goals and see how we can re-strategize to ensure we accomplish what we set for at the beginning of the year.

Personally i am happy with where i am at. I have had my good and bad moments but at least the good outweighs the bad.

Nonetheless, i must say; Its so easy to get caught up in the “busyness” of life. So many things to do that you end up burning out and  sometimes become more frustrated than fulfilled. But what i have learnt is that being busy doesn’t equate being productive.

We therefore have to find a way to achieve the maximum without burning out or loosing ourselves.

So how do you maintain sanity in the midst of all the madness?

Keeping Centered.

I have found it very important to have something that keeps one centered. Something that gives one peace and happiness; relieves the stress that we have; motivates us to rise and and achieve more.

Everyone has their own way to keep centered. It can be going down on your knees, Going to your yoga mat; Meditation; Going to the gym; Going for a run; Reading a book, Dancing, Singing, Going for a drive and so many more.

Find your center

Whatever works for you. Do it and do it regularly. I recommend at least once a week. This is to avoid going too far off-course from the right path. Its easier to fix something as soon as it starts going wrong rather than waiting for it to accumulate. So please make time for these activities.

Also have a to do List
I know this may not be your thing and i wasn’t for the idea myself until i gave it a trial. This is an easy way of tracking your daily or weekly progress and pushes you to achieve much more than when you live a life with no plan at all. Failing to plan is planning to fail

Keep a list of  your achievements and things you are greatful for.
Not everyday is gonna be great. Sometimes you will feel down, you wont wanna get out of bed, won’t wanna pursue what you do anymore, feel like you haven’t accomplished anything, feel less confident and a failure. It is on such days that we need this lists to remind us of where we have come from and how blessed and lucky we are. The lists encourages us to rise us and keep moving and we can achieve even much more.
