For us to experience change or achieve the goals we have, there are certain things that need to be set in place. So today i wanted us to look at How You Can Move from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be:
This can be in any area of your life such as: becoming happier, having a successful career, becoming healthier, having better relationships with others and yourself, financial freedom…anything that makes you a better version of yourself.
The Following 3 are very critical in Making Changes in Our Lives:
Having a Definite and Passionate Purpose
For you to achieve great success in something you want, you have to have a clear picture in mind of what you want. If you don’t know what you want you will settle for anything.
So what is it that you really want?? Its not enough to say you want to be rich. You need to be specific for example: I am making 100000 dollars in September of this year;I am 120pounds in September this year; I am driving Car X model XYZ December this year. Once this is clear you lock it in your mind and heart. When you do that, you will be able to easily manifest the things you want to achieve.
Then you need to have a very powerful reason as to why you are doing something because if your reason is not powerful enough, then committing will not be easy. Have you reached a point of being tired of being tired or are you sick of being sick. Once you reach that point, you no longer want to be in that place again and don’t want to go back there. So you will work your a** off until you are not in that place. Have you tasted poverty and had enough! Have you being unhealthy and had enough! Have you been unhappy and depressed and had enough! Have you been in a toxic environment or relationship and had enough! Have you lived in mediocrity and had enough! If you have reached that point of enough is enough! Then my friend, you are truly ready for change. So step into the Life that you were meant to live.
You need to have a supportive environment. You need to let go of some people, places, thought, attitudes. Say goodbye to things and people that try to convince you that you cannot make it, that you can’t become better. You need to surround yourself with positive people and a positive environment to energize you and help you not give up when times are difficult. You need people and an environment that inspires you, that makes you believe You can do it; that believes in You even when You don’t believe in yourself. Its also a good idea to have a mentor or/and an accountability partner.
Change your Habits
If its important to you, you will find a way; if not you will find an excuse.
Now this is usually the hardest part for people. But like I said in the first point- If you have such a powerful reason as to why you need to achieve something you want in your life then this will be easier because you are committed to your goal.
You cannot have different results unless you change something you have been doing. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. So in order for you to have a better life or achieve something that you want, you need to change the things you do or how you do them.
The easiest way to stop a bad habit is to replace it with a good one.
