WEEKEND ROUTINE IDEAS
What are you Doing This Weekend?
The best way to make use of your weekend is by engaging in activities that will help you Relax, Re-energize and Plan for the week ahead.
In this Post i will be Sharing some of the activities that you can engage in based on those 3 principles.
Your body requires rest so that it can be able to re-energize. Sleep a little more than you do.
Your body is likely very tired because of all the activities you have had during the week. Visit the spa for a massage or get your partner to do it at home.
With all the busyness of life, sometimes we end up not having time for ourselves. Take some time off and just chill. Some of the activities you can do are:
- Listening to Music
- Take a walk
- Go for a drive
- Do some shopping
- Some self care
- Do Nothing
Give your body a little more attention than you do during the week.
- Bubble bath
You can either go to the spa or do this at home.
Spend Time with Family, Friends, Loved Ones
Making memories with people who mean the most to you is one of those things that you will live to cherish. Make time to be with these people. Connect, have fun, talk some serious stuff, resolve disputes… Having meaningful loving connections brings positivity into your life which will spread into all areas of your life
Take some time to do something that you enjoy doing that you may not have managed to do during the week. This could be anything from dancing, playing a musical instrument, photography, a sport you love, cooking, just something you enjoy.
Get Motivation/ Inspiration
Engage in some activity that will get you motivated:
- Listen to a podcast
- Watch inspiring Videos/ Documentaries or Movie
- Attend/Listen to/ Watch a sermon
- Attend a talk by a motivating person
- Get some Ideas on Pinterest or Instagram
- Take time to review how your week was
- Make necessary adjustments
- Plan for the week ahead
Take time to prepare foods that will take you through-out the week. This will save you both time and money. You will also be so glad on those lazy days you dont feel like cooking coz you have something healthy to eat in your fridge.
Get your laundry and house clean. You can do this yourself or hire someone to do it.
Invest in your future by learning or doing something that will make your future better. Take a few hours in your weekend to do this:
- Learn a new skill or gain some extra knowledge to put you ahead in your career or personal life
- Grow your Blog or You-tube Channel
- Do Photography
- Invest in your side-hustle
