Most people just focus on the Food and Exercising  when it comes to health and Forget about the Mind which is very important. We need to develop a healthy mind and take care of our mental wellness.

Active and Learning Mind

This entails our ability to learn , memorize, gain wisdom, knowledge & skills and utilize all that to solve problems and even come up with new inventions

Some ways to get this done:

  • Read
  • Eat Healthy Foods
  • Exercise
  • Crossword Puzzles
  • Chess
  • Mathematics
  • Programming
  • Learn to play a Musical Instrument

 

Positivity

It is important to keep a positive mindset. This does not mean that you never get negative emotions but rather you are conscious of them and do not let the control you or ruin your day.

You can Practice Positivity by:

  • Watching Inspiring Videos/ Documentaries/ Talks/ Movies
  • Listening To Inspiring Audios, Podcasts, Music
  • Using Affirmations
  • Using the Law of Attraction/Manifestation
  • Using Meditations
  • Hanging around Positive People
  • Allow Yourself to Enjoy the Good times- Savor the moments

 

Mental Wellness

It is very important to take care of our metal wellness. If we don’t it creeps and cripples other areas of our lives:

  • Seek help when Facing Difficult Times
  • Practice Meditation

  • Sleep enough
  • Practice self-care- Bubble bath, light a scented candles, massage, manicure, pedicure, facials, be still/silent for a few minutes, go for a walk, take a break from social media & the internet, color

  • Forgive and Let go of things that You need to

Dealing With Difficult situations

“No matter what mistakes you have made or others have made against you, it is not the act that hurts, but *your interpretation* of the act. Just as you chose an interpretation that hurts, you can choose one that heals.”

I read this quote some time back and my first Reaction was Like “What! You can’t be Serious. That’s not true” But the more I thought about it the More I saw it was actually True

In Life its not what happens to us but the interpretation that we give those events that makes life Positive or Negative. You can choose a meaning that Hurts or Heals You; Motivates or Demotivates You; Empowers or Dis-empowers You, Grows You or Lets You fall Behind; Makes You or Breaks You; Makes You Happy or Sad; Love more or Hate More.

Start choosing the Better Interpretation.

  • Its not what happens to you but how you react that matters the most
  • Learn to see the Good in Every Situation
  • Ask Yourself What is there to Learn from that Situation
  • Become Solution Oriented rather than Problem Oriented i.e stop over-focusing or getting stuck in the problem, ask how can i resolve this or how can this be solved
  • Nothing Lasts Forever, This too shall Pass

 

Growth

Its not healthy to be in the same place. We need to grow to the next level. We need to Get out of Our comfort Zones!

  • Learn something New at least Every Day or Week
  • Try out things that you are curious about
  • Say Yes to New Opportunities
  • Travel and Experience Different Cultures and Environments
  • Challenge Your Beliefs
